R.E.O Consultants Limited was established in 2002. C.E.O. Ryan Orie, initially gained his experience starting off as a sales representative with Carsearch (1999) where he worked for approximately 2 years. From the onset he proved that he was indeed a force with which to be reckoned with, as his outstanding customer service earned him the Carsearch Sales Representative of the Year Award after only 8 months on the job.

Following the firm’s receivership, Ryan, along with some of the technicians, decided to offer independent services by selling car alarms to the clients with whom they were associated, during their time at Carsearch. At this time also, the roll-on/roll-off industry was in its developmental stages and Ryan took the initiative and worked along with IBC Japan, which was located in Barataria, equipping all the vehicles being sold, with alarms.

Not contented to stop there, Ryan also began offering the alarm services to other companies and individuals with whom he came in contact. After about 1 year, IBC Japan decided to return to Miami. Undaunted, Ryan commenced mobile installs: providing the novel services of house calls to customers, and onsite installs to companies requiring this service. In early 2002, Auto Village, El Socorro offered Ryan a location from where he would provide the alarm services for this one stop shop. He accepted the offer, and it was here that REO Auto Security was born.

Our business began expanding and we then became an authorized dealer for Viper, Clifford, Prestige and K9 car alarms. However, in spite of our advancement we never departed from our first principle of providing excellent customer care; our accessibility, by both the individual and companies alike, remained superior. With the growth and establishment of our reputation as a trusted and reliable auto security company, the insurance industry became keenly aware of us, and close ties were formed with Algico, GTM Insurance, Maritime and Tatil. Since then, we have been commissioned to approve anti-theft devices on behalf of GTM Insurance and Maritime, as well as other agents and brokers within the insurance industry.

In 2005, REO Auto Security became a limited liability company and began operating as “REO Auto Security Co. Ltd.” The work area at Auto Village could no longer contain our flourishing business, and much bigger facilities were required. Our search brought us to #183 Lower El Socorro Road, San Juan from where we now operate. This location which is next to York Garment Factory, or the fifth building on El Socorro Road after getting off the highway, is convenient and quite easy to access by our clientele.

In an effort to offer our customers the best possible auto security, it is imperative that REO Auto Security Co. Ltd stays on the cutting edge of technology. To that end, in November 2009, we embarked on promoting the most recent auto security device - the GPS tracking systems. We carry the top brand, “Tramigo”.
